Our quality traditional and family cuisine will allow you to taste the pleasure of Provencal culinary art.

A pizza oven will give you the opportunity to taste excellent pizzas cooked over a wood fire, every day in July and August and on weekends the rest of the year.

A menu of the day at 20 €, a children’s menu at 10 € and a very diverse menu on the slate including quality local products are available to you.

For more than thirty years, our hotel/restaurant has been welcoming you at the entrance of a very beautiful village in the Alpes de Haute Provence. A few steps from Lake Castillon, very close to a kindergarten, at the crossroads leading to Nice, Castellane, Allos or Digne-les-Bains, you are sure to find your happiness here in Saint-Julien-du-Verdon, during a short or long stay at Le Pidanoux.

Our specialities


In marinière, curry, Roquefort or Catalan, our mussels are served with fries. A little southern air on your plate, a stone’s throw from the lake

Feet and bundles

Specialty of Provence, it is a dish composed of lamb offal (bellies and feet). Feet and packets are usually simmered in a tomato, white wine and Provence herb sauce. Each piece of stalk and bundle is stuffed with pork, garlic and chopped parsley.


Jean-Pierre’s pizzas are an institution in Saint-Julien-du-Verdon. A fine paste, a simple and hearty garnish, cooking over a wood fire, once you have tasted them you will not be able to do without them!
